[Reported] Slow world maps in full screen

Platform, device version and operating system: PC - Steam, Windows 10

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
If I click and drag the mouse to pan the overworld or underworld maps, it is super slow, as if zoomed all the way in and then some. But this happens regardless of zoom setting. Normally it will pan quicker. Now it is agonizingly slow and I must repeatedly drag the mouse, reset, drag, reset. I found that if I uncheck Full Screen and apply, the map behaves normally. Switching back to full screen brings back slow map mode. I’m on 1920x1080 but picked another randoml resolution and the behavior was the same.

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
This is a recent issue. First noticed today, but I haven’t tried scrolling around the map recently either (mainly doing events). I know about 2-3 weeks ago it was not there.

Steps to make it happen again
Just try panning around the map (regular overworld, or underworld) with a mouse on PC in full screen mode.

Hello

Thank you for the detailed information.

I’ve let the development team know about this issue.

In the meantime,

  • Please let me know what GPU you currently have for your PC?
  • Please also let me know what kind of mouse you are using?
  • Please ensure your graphics driver is up to date!

They had recently been updated, but I checked again yesterday and there was another update which I’ve applied. No change in behavior before and after the update and reboot.

Thanks!

Update here.
I just noticed today that the map is fixed. No changes on this end. Not sure exactly when it started working, but I went to pan the map to look for a kingdom today and the speed was back to normal.
