That Immortal is completely out of place in Bright Forest and makes no sense whatsoever. The artwork goes with Shentang, but the troop typing goes with Pridelands. But it’s not like the devs listen to any feedback like this, so who cares.
Maybe there are lots of mice to catch in Bright Forest and Khaomani wants them all to herself.
From a logical standpoint, yes. All the other Immortals have the same kingdom as their weapon. But here is a fun fact that we discovered when these troops were first introduced–We can’t use Terra’s Jewel in Southwild because we can never have a restriction there. That’s just…dumb. (And we would have to get people to vote for that restriction anyway).
There are a lot of things in this game that make no sense, and I have learned to accept it. They don’t care.
I reported this to the development team and they’ve let me know that Immortal Khaomni is from the correct kingdom. It’s the weapon that is set to the wrong kingdom.
Maybe there is a larger “Grand Plan” that we will never know, but I can see that you guys want to have a powerful Immortal (and dragonite dragon) in every kingdom. Immortal Leio is from Pridelands, so it makes sense to not have too many from the same kingdom.
I’m going to stop wrapping my brain around it and try to accept these decisions. I wish that immortal weapons used the opposing mana colors of their associated Immortal (in this case, for Khamoni’s staff). These weapons are classified as “Doom” type rarity weapons, but only using 1 mana color severely limits their use.
When the weapon kingdom will be changed afterwards, and a player doesn’t have enough weapons anymore for the kingdom being a specific level, will the kingdom be downgraded and the resources given back? Or will there instantly be another weapon in this kingdom for replacement?
I’m trying to just…understand the concept of Immortal weapons from the devs’ point of view. Why make them use only one mana color like doom weapons? Why are most of their weapon perks pretty useless? (Even the final upgrade to the weapons don’t really do much imo).
And yes, I was wrong about classifying Immortal weapons, but all other mythic weapons use three colors. Maybe if I took a tour of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate factory, I would understand.
It’s a good point. None of the immortal weapons I’ve seen are anything I’d use. The point of them seems to be that they’re decent-ish, but if you have an immortal on the team they become much better… but the single colour and high cost ruin that, and none of them seem good enough to justify it.
The immortals are always three colours, and their weapon is always one of the other three, meaning that the hero and immortal won’t mana block each other, so that’s good, but you could pick way better weapons in any colour and still avoid mana-blocking.
Only a few of them, the ones from soulforge. The rest are single colour. In fact, apart from a few mythic weapons and most legendary weapons, all weapons of all rarities are single colour.
Of course, your point about single colour 20 mana cost weapons having low utility still stands.
