[Reported] Incorrect trait name for Ratchet Cogbolt

Platform, device version and operating system:
PC/Mobile

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
I was expecting the third trait of Ratchet Cogbolt to have a proper name. “Unstable” is already reserved for an entirely different purpose, somebody likely copied in the wrong one.

EDIT: This actually seems to be a bit more exotic. The second trait isn’t named “Unstable”, it’s named “Unstable Core”. The third trait isn’t named “Unstable”, it’s named “Unstable Invention”. Apparently the names get cut off at the first space, either because the text doesn’t get scaled properly or because this particular component is only able to render single words.

Maybe they can make this mythic deal true damage too after they fix the wording on his final trait.

See I think. If it was just mech. It would be true damage.

But it’s that damn dwarf DNA, bringing this poor mythic down

This has been going on for a few versions actually, but for whatever reason, certain traits whose name requires a “word wrap” don’t display properly on this page specifically. The trait name displays correctly on the actual troop card.

Other traits that are similarly affected:

  • “Omen” traits (Omen of Stone, etc)
  • Wargare Bond
  • ??

The other problem with this troop’s third trait is that it already exists in the game under a different name. Since it does the exact same thing as Tesla’s “Overclock,” it should also be called “Overclock”…

Maybe they thought that reordering attack and armor made unstable invention different?

But in all seriousness, if they made unstable invention be: “Give 2 magic and armor to all mech allies when matching 4 or more gems,” it would at least make Ratchet Cogbolt have a more useful and different final trait.

Imo, they should remove the boost ratio and just make Ratchet Cogbolt deal true damage, but this mythic probably doesn’t understand because it’s half dwarf…

Definitely the dwarf DNA.
It’s the character no one picks in rpgs :joy:

Didn’t even used to pick it in the mega drive game Barbarian or Guantlet. :joy:

Also the character no one cares about in LOTR.
