[reported] Guild war defense guardian kicks in too soon

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
In my 4th battle of last day’s guild war, the defender’s guardian sentinel kicked in way too sooner than I expected. It was supposed to kick in at turn 15, but in that battle it kicked in at turn 5 or 6. I didn’t count exactly, but at end of war I got +6 bonus from speed of battle, so it was turn 5 or 6.

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
I have vaguely noticed this bug in previous guild wars. But no concrete evidence until this time.

Steps to make it happen again
Don’t know. But I guess it may have some relation with extra turns.

In my experience, the number of turns for the guardian to appear is cumulative across all 5 daily battles.
For example:
Battle 1: 2 turns
Battle 2: 4 turns
Battle 3: 4 turns
Battle 4: On the 5th turn, the guardian appears

Whether that’s the intended behavior or not is an open question.

Not so in my last day. My first three battles all finished within 2 turns, yet still guardian pop up in turn 5 or 6.

With more careful counting, I find end-of-battle bonus point for speed isn’t that reliable, either. Two of my today’s GW battles won at turn 3, yet I got +12 points in both.

If anyone happens to have a video of a battle, with this happening, before the event ends, that would be helpful.

So I can confirm it is the Guardian appearing and not just the opponent has that troop on their team, or confirm that while the guardian is in the team, there is a turn counter on their troop card.

No photo or video, but can confirm I saw the same thing occur on either day 3 or 4 and it occurred about 2 turns in, entangle gems appeared and my team was entangled.

My thoughts at the time was that the turn-counter was not reset each battle and instead, continued to count across either: a) all battles on a day; or b) all battles across the four days of guild wars.

It is not so obvious to know as goblin teams often keep looping so you don’t trigger many turns. I think a number of people video their GW battles, so hopefully someone has the info already.

In the meantime, the team is looking into this further and it’s been reported as a bug
