What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened: I’m trying to fight the first battle in Legends Reborn. As soon as I start the battle, the game soft locks, I cannot select troops or move the cursor to select any gens to match and cannot pause the game.
I have to quit to the main Ps5 UI, and quit the game.
Tried going to Legends Reborn via the Games menu and from the main map, same result every time.
i cannot progress with Legends Reborn.
I did notics the opponent team only has 1 troop, maybe it is something to do with that.
Other game modes woek aa expected.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening? it happens every time since the new Legends Reborn event today.
Steps to make it happen again Start Legends Reborn and try to play the first battle
This is also happening on PS4 as of the time of this comment. The only button that works is the touch pad (open game speed/chat menu). You can’t press start to retreat, move the curser, cast, etc.
Looking into a fix for this currently, seems like some missing data - there is a chance a temp fix would just involve filling those missing opponent troops with placeholder troops, to prevent the issue happening.
It’s not happening to everyone as it’s related to the Curse enemy team node in Astral Spire, and it only has a chance to trigger - we can get that fixed in 9.3
Because that has a chance to trigger, you can get through into the battle if it doesn’t. So, there is a chance it won’t happen every time you try
Is this just console or on every platform? I was thinking about picking up that node, I’d rather wait until 9.3 if there are situations where it locks up the game.
