So far we can confirm that a hotfix will not be able to go out till after the weekend, as it requires new builds > testing > submission > release
This means we will not have anything further to update till we get through some of that process, meaning there will be no further updates till next week.
Also, we have already asked about compensation but will not have further information until a fix is released but can confirm despite players not going through the full Victory screen animation, the rewards for those battles are being added to your account for the battle being completed.
Lastly, Switch 8.1 has already been released I believe, about an hour ago - so they would also get the hotfix once it passes submission.
