When entering the Shop, the game instantly crashes.
Deleted, rebooted and reinstalled Gems of War and it still happens.
Also happens on Xbox Series X and Series S when playing PvP, Underspire, Delves or Explore. Or when medaling troops. Underspire is extremely annoying since it cost me a torch after the battle was counted as a loss even though I just was defeating the last enemy with my MS Deez’Nutz …

Is anyone getting errors before it crashes? @NSReflex and is it ONLY in the Shop?
So your crashing @Hayabusa isn’t specific to entering the shop, so there is a chance its unrelated to what NS is experiencing.
Either way, I need as much info as possible as this seems like two different causes, and the similarity is just that the game crashes
No further information. Different consoles, different game modes, different days. Screen just goes black and the game closes and has to be started again from the dashboard. No error message.
Out of curiosity and I NEED to get into the Shop on Monday… I connected my PS4. Did all the PS4 and Gems of War updates. Opened the game. Went into the Shop and it STILL crashes.
I haven’t discovered any issues anyplace else. On PS4 and PS5… opening the Shop, instantly crashes my game on both systems.
Which Shop though, the weekly event shop or just the Shop itself?
Just the Shop at the bottom of the screen, next to Collection.

Thank you! I have had another report from someone else on SONY, so I have a dev looking into this.
This is not then related to what this thread is reporting, I can dig more into some troubleshooting with you if you want to submit a ticket.
But if it’s happening so inconsistently, without an error, it will be difficult to determine a cause if it is game specific.
Thanks!!! I really appreciate it. If this was an “isolated incident”, I wouldn’t mind… but for several days now, without fail… each and every single time I’ve opened up the Shop, my game crashes. Thanks again.

Resolved itself after a couple of hours 
I’m on the Nintendo Switch and I don’t know if it’s the exact same issue, but I’ve had instances where entering the Shop from the main menu and trying to purchase (Glory or Gem-related) things can trigger three different issues.
My game will trigger a perpetually spinning loading icon which will NOT resolve itself and requires a forced shut down to resolve.
(I can’t pinpoint it aside from saying it’s a new development and that it has happened both when I’ve freshly logged in and I’m opening the Shop when I’m already logged in and opening the Shop.)
My game will successfully display the main menu Shop, BUT missing a lot of its typical purchase options.
(This has happened on and off ever since Astral Spire was released. This has also happened when opening Event-related purchase screen.)
My game will trigger a destination error (or some other error) repeatedly before spontaneously resolving itself after about 30 seconds.
(Can happen anytime, but most frequently when opening the main menu Shop and trying to purchase something.)
