[Reported] Furnax 3rd trait bugged if Consume Fuel triggers vs impervious

Platform, device version and operating system:
Win 11, Steam OS

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:

Immortal Furnax seems to have a bug. When you take skulls and it’s third trait triggers vs Impervious or Invulnerable, it will do 0 damage. It looks like you have no attack or it’s dodged.

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?

Seemingly when Consume Fuel triggers vs impervious. I fought GW today and it occurred 3 times, the 1 constant was the troop was immune to devour. Elementalist Hero, Nutcracker and Zuul, none have dodge, none had barrier, Furnax had attack.

Steps to make it happen again

I didn’t have before an after s/shots and it’s hard to replicate when it’s impervious only troops and we cannot create def teams, other than C Spire profile. However several reports within our alliance of troops dodging skull hits with no dodge.

I will try and provide some s/shots in due course, but it should be easy to replicate in house..

I assume it’s coded so if it’s trait triggers it does devour INSTEAD of skull damage, so you devour the enemy with full health/armour not after it loses them from the skull attack. It makes sense, until the devour fails.
It should do the devour FIRST, then deal the skull damage if it fails. Lots of troops have their spell worded this way, so that they devour an enemy or if they fail to devour it they do other stuff.

Just looking at the troop, and the wording on the trait is kind of weird. “10% chance to devour the first enemy on skull damage”. Makes it sound like if you deal damage, then it might devour the first enemy, so you could kill the first enemy and then devour the next as it becomes the new first enemy. But obviously that’s not how it works.
I’m glad it tries to devour first, as that’s generally a better outcome, but it needs to still do something if the devour fails.

Good points.

It really has to do skull damage though.

Can you imagine a troop that can’t match mana with a move because of xxxx etc.

And with it being invulnerable there’s no reason it shouldn’t.
