Are you able to check your current GW guild ranking? I suspect the broken ELO scores might now have been applied to rankings, if that bumped you down a lot, your rewards will be significantly less.
The rankings seemed OK for us (on Xbox). Santandrix’s screenshot above shows the same issue. 20 Gold Marks + 500% should be +100, not +50. It’s like the morale bonus shown is based off the old base values before they were doubled recently. I think it’s just a display error, we got the right amounts earlier in the event when we won on the first day.
Some players in our guild received full rewards. But after two players left the guild, the morale bonus was reduced. Now the remaining players receive partial rewards, calculated as if those two players had not participated in the guild war.
I can see my rewards in the Guild War menu but cannot collect them. I have not received them via email.
There’s been no update since the last time this happened, so I was expecting it to still be broken, and we’re having the same issue in my guild. Main thing is that the devs need to mail rewards out ASAP, because they haven’t fixed the game and we know rewards never got mailed last time, so they won’t be this time either. And then they need to fix this issue in the next update, because GW is badly broken and that has to be something they’re focused on, surely.
Also putting this here. Apparently the moral bonus for the victory on the final Guild Wars day is entirely broken now:
I’m just waiting for the team to start for the day so I can get into this all with them
Cos its mentioned in a different thread the above is a visual issue
Awaiting an update about the unclaimable rewards
I am still waiting to hear back from the team and will poke again tomorrow after the end of event grace period has occurred, which is when the mail should be sent out.
Thanks for following up. The option to claim rewards is now gone, with no mail sent out.
Edit: removed misinformation.
Anyway, hopefully this will be an easy fix since it’s just a controller navigation issue.
No, from the patch notes they stated that they were adding a grace period so it wouldn’t need to be auto-mailed out, but if rewards weren’t claimed in that grace period, they would then be auto-mailed out.
Sadly, neither of these worked, and the whole change was a fustercluck. The grace period isn’t working because we can’t claim anything in that time, so it’s just an annoying delay. And the auto-mailout that was working before is now not working at all. So, the end result is that rather than just getting the rewards, we now have to wait ages to get nothing, and complain about it until the devs send them out manually. All while we wait for a future update to hopefully fix the issues caused by the last update, and just hope it doesn’t cause a bunch of new issues, like usual.

Following up for anyone who has not receieved the mailed out rewards still..
Also, got an update that the fix for the reward claim button not working in the grace period did not make it into 8.9 and will be in 9.0. This means unfortunately next Guild Wars, the same button issue will occur. Once I know more about why the mail isn’t going out, I can find out what the situation is with a fix for that,.
Given it’s an ongoing issue, you know will happen, can they send the rewards the day after the war ends? Just, as soon as they can, after the war ends and data is known. Rather than leaving players waiting for days, like this time?
Aside from making it much better for players, it will save a ton of posts on the forum and tickets being submitted, saving you guys time and effort, I assume.
I think making a change to have it send right after would take longer than just waiting for a fix to release, as I don’t know if that’s something that can just be manually pushed out on top of while it is currently intentionally programmed to be pushed out after the grace period ends.
Just curious, has anyone been auto-mailed the rewards? If so, it would be good to figure out if there’s something specific that prevents it for some players. I continue to worry about logging in too close to reset, as several other things are broken if you do.
But I think it’s likely that that code just isn’t working and it’ll have to be manually sent every time.
Sorry, didn’t explain that enough. I meant, can someone be ready to hit the button that sends out rewards soon after reset, rather than having to wait days for them to hit the button, not for them to recode the whole thing to do it automatically. (I mean, I know it’s more complicated than just “hit the button”, but I’m just saying whatever the process is, can someone do it on the day after the war, not three days later.)
Yeah, as far as I knew, it was broken for everyone. That’s why I’m saying there’s no need to wait three days, just send immediately after reset.
If it works for some people, not others, I get having to wait three days to figure out who to send rewards to, and who not to. But if it’s not working for anyone, just skip the wait, right?
I understood
Fair enough. I guess that could possibly lead to double rewards if the code decided to work that month. There’s no rush. Probably just annoying for you all to get pinged a million times.
There is still some work to be done testing, which will likely take up the rest of our work day. So I’ll check in again tomorrow with the team, to see if that mail has been manually sent out.
Once that has been manually pushed out tomorrow, players would need to force close and relaunch the game to trigger the mail being sent out.
I’ll make a post once that is live
