Thankful for the forums for the warning not to install the new update. Can’t help but think if the bug was reversed and gems were gained by changing regions. It would be fixed already.

not changing, opend it first time after weekly reset) 10 gems per week) i can afford it xD But the bug itself is a hilarious)
i’ve tried and it’s not true - 1 gem are taken when you open a quick battle in a region where you don’t enter this week

I have a quick update. The dev team has found the issue and have made a fix that will go out shortly via the server that will stop the 1 gem deduction.
Secondly, the devs are now currently work on a fix that will refund any gems deducted from players accounts as a result of this issue. That fix will go out in the next 24hrs at the latest.

Devs need to get the gnomes under control. If they’ve started eating gems, they need retraining.

Is there confirmation whether this has been fixed? Guildies asking whether it’s safe to update, and I seldom update unless it’s a forced update, so can’t advise

Tried it on mine and no gems got taken. Can’t be 100%, but it might be fixed.

I received two gems in the mail this morning.
Most guild members did too(varying amounts)
And I played today without gem loss

I got 17 gems in the mail I was dipping in and out of regions to see how it was. Very disappointing once again from devs, I’d genuinely love to see an update that didn’t have bugs in it. Just one

Glad to see people got their gems back, but disappointed there wasn’t a message of apology in-game (and a handful of gems as a peace offering, but that never seems to happen now). Several members of my guild skipped PvP once they found out about the bug, and that means they’ll have missed out on rewards, but that doesn’t get taken into account. They’re worse off, but there’s nothing they can do about it, because of a bug added by an update. Something that seems to happen with every update now.
At least if the devs had sent out a message warning players of the bug, then another message stating it was fixed, players could have tried to adjust their playing, to limit the effects. I assume they might have had time to play PvP before the daily reset, but since we weren’t told when the fix went out, they couldn’t know that.

My question is what did they change in PVP with the update that would cause a bug like that to occur.

Same could be said of the introduced bug to Genie/Demon/Merchant/Angel offers in explore…..as the patch notes say nothing about changes to this part of the game.
