After this update, I realized that when I enter PVP mode and select a region, it automatically uses 1 gem to change the opponents. I tried this 5 or 6 times, everytime it happened. When I close the game and reopen and enter PVP, the opponents before closing the game are gone and it uses 1 gem automatically without my consent to get new opponents. I’m %100 sure that I didn’t use 1 gem to get new opponens because I won’t. So evertime we want to play PVP, do we need to pay 1 gem?

Confirming on Android. I noted my gem count, entered a region and went to quick battle - as it is said in the post above, 1 gem gets immediately subtracted from the total without me ever tapping any other button.

Can confirm this on Xbox too. Its taking 1 gem off me whenever I go to a new region. No deductions after each battle though. Of course new update brings fresh new bugs

When you re enter the region it doesnt take a gem off you its the first time you do. I dont know wether its going to be a daily reset thing but sad to say I’m not surprised. Its ALWAYS something

You should make a bug report for this, so it gets processed properly. It’s pretty serious if it’s stealing gems from players.
BTW, it does take a gem from you every time you re-enter a region, at least if you exit PvP in between.

Same thing is happening to me every time on the ps5 l came to complain match making is messed up getting under 40 point 3 trophy battles and l see l’m losing gems in the process

That’s annoying because I wanted to take first place in PvP this week, but right now I’m in second! But I’m not going to spend any gems on it. I’ve noticed that one gem is only deducted when entering a region. If you simply continue playing PvP without leaving the region, nothing is deducted!

Confirming on Steam too. Only steals the 1 gem when you change regions; repeated battles in the same region are OK.

Happening when clicking ‘quick battle’ after changing region. Multiple battles in a region is fine, clicking quick battle multiple times in the same region without changing is fine. It’s only when selecting a different region and then hitting quick battle.
I’ve bounced around a bit today doing pvp so I’m definitely out some gems from this nonsense.

Just jumping in here while Jeto is out. I’ve reported this issue and escolated this to the dev team to investigate and find the cause so we can get this fixed asap.

Confirmed on Switch 1, also.
I generally always maintain a “low” balance of Gems, so today I farmed TH for a few minutes to round up my tally to 75 (okay, 76) Gems, then spent them on some minor offers, leaving me at just 1 Gem (and ~50 minutes until next hourly tribute).
Upon going into the PVP map and checking Central Spire, the 1 Gem was deducted. leaving me at zero.
This did not block me from checking additional PVP regions, though.
