Well to replace you have to remove it from defense first or am l wrong?

I donāt agree with replacing. Stellarix and Wand of Stars had strong looping potential and thatās why they had to be replaced. Just make a better counter teamā¦
Honestly, on blood frenzy areas, Chrysantherax is a monster. I saw one with upwards of āDeal 400+ damageā and despite having a lot of maxed out kingdoms, I cannot survive that. The current campaign with submerge gems really helps with this, but for those that are really complaining:
Look for troops that can silence or web
Change your heroās trait to deluge instead of rock solid if youāre using Elementalist, but generally look for deluge.
With those two things, you should be fine enough to kill it. I still think Takshaka is more of a problem to fight against than this (same with Stellarix previously). I do however, agree with the decision to rerplace Wand of Stars. I really wish that weapon would just be deleted, actually. I remember in the past, there was weapon variety, whether it be doomskull creators, EoE, Rope Dart, LnD, TnT, Reflection, and Explode/Summon weapons like Arboreal Crystal. Now, most of those are completely invalid with Wand of Stars. Itās basically become a catch-all weapon for both color and troop type restrictions.
I agree that Crysantherax is easier to deal with than Stellarix. However, it loops and gets extra turns in a bonestorm, so I have seen people using Diamantina with it to take advantage of this.
But Wand of Stars is a whole separate issue. Itās almost required to deal with elementalist because itās the easiest way to deal with that overpowered 3rd trait which makes most other classes feel at a disadvantage. I would love to see the day when Warden gets ācreate a leaf storm at the start of every turn,ā instead of "all allies gain 5 armor."
I feel like this troop still existing on pvp defenses is more an indication that the staff of GoW have given up. If layoffs have happened with their support staff, no reason to think programmers havenāt also been laid off. Therefore the constant skeleton crew is more worried about the game actually running than anyone actually enjoying PVP.
