Reflect is BUSTED

REFLECT IS NOT WORKING AS INTENDED….OR AS INTENDED BUT NOT EXPLAINED.

Last weeks ToD had a number of times where the enemy gained reflect in the doom fight.

When using the doomed weopon (that breaks armour) on a troop with reflect, ended in an instakill on the hero everytime.

I’m not sure if its related to the break, but when slowing gameplay it seemed as if the reflect broke the hero’s armour as well and then did damage (not 50% of what was dealt but enough to kill)

Edit to add: headline is not sensationalised. As there exists another reflect not working topic.

The damage reflected is possibly counting the break(all armour removed) as damage, which it shouldn’t, as well as the damage dealt such that vs a level 400 enemy its overwhelming damage even if it is the 50% reflected value

That would be weird given that Mang (and friends: Earth’s Fury, Trickster’s Shot, etc) only reflect the actual damage, the armor break does not count.

Don’t those say “eliminate all armour”? Is “break armour” doing something different, maybe?
We’d have to test spells that do each and see which are doing what, to be sure, but if they changed the code for a different wording, that would be insane. So, yeah, they might have done that.

The spelltext says “Break” but the tooltip says “Eliminate”. Should be the same.

Yeah, but this game is full of “should be” stuff, which sadly isn’t.
Just because they link to the same tooltip doesn’t mean they have the same code.
