My favored troop is Knight Coronet. I can guarantee that I do no invade with him in every PVP match.

same. I may invade with 3-4 different teams . favorite is a most used but not always
A level 8 player (I think) got lucky and pulled war day 1, if they can do that then I have no doubts that a level 30 player can have a maw… Even possibly traited with stone gained from a very active guild via gems and glory keys…
Also possible Heavy pay player, the motherload of gems at VIP 10 buys 250 gem keys (5 bundles of 50) and that can give anyone a fully traited anything if you put enough into it. But it is fully possible (and even likely) that he just got lucky pulls from guild keys
if your team has a power of 1k, what would a hard battles power be?

Possible=Whatever [speaker] can do
Impossible=[Speaker] can’t do it, must be an exploit!

Did I contribute to this line of thinking at all? I gave 2 legit possibilities for how he got to where he was at without ever crying “cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater”

the problem is, sure you can kick the ass of far higher players with a lot less resources, but it will be sloooooow going. But perhaps most his battles are against low levels, easy battles, and he saw an abnormally powerful player in the hard battle and tried it for fun. this low level could be as obsessive as the senior dhj too. Also, this could be dhjl’s lovechild. I am sure dhjl will not overtake his kid, as he cares about his self esteem/

Let’s not rule out the possibility the battle log is itself bugged, and may not always be reporting the right player name in a loss. Devs still haven’t responded to the pre-2.0 bug report that I (and quite a few other people) were being asked to revenge a loss at the hands of a level 1. The current board leader may never have faced a maw, and the level 742 guy whose battle log says his maw team lost to the guy could simply have been beaten by someone else.
I believe Favoured troop also factors in the troops you use in PvE (ie challenges and quests) so if they do a lot of Dust Devil farming (without empowered O.o) then that could skew the numbers.
