I noticed that on some shiny cards behind the little diamond symbol indicating that they are shiny there is a three-pointed mountain peak looking symbol. What does that symbol mean? I see that they are different colors and some shiny cards do not have any of those at all. Any insight would be appreciated. I just have no idea what they mean.
Each tiny diamond on the bottom right you see indicates the card’s current shiny level. I included an example of each level.
Shiny Lv 1: -1 mana cost
Shiny Lv 2: skill modification, most being very small
Shiny Lv 3: - 1 mana cost (for a total of -2)
As for the color thing, I’m assuming that’s the Gems of War take on Shiny Pokemon. Why, I have no clue. Can’t opt in/out.
The diamonds and their levels I did understand, but the colors behind them I’ve always wondered about. Thank you for your answer.
There should be a toogle button to change to basic art. Almost all the shiny colors look bad and out of place.
The colors behind the diamonds correspond to the card’s second mana color.
It’s meant to be a torn edge, similar to the banner with stats. You can see the same colours carry over from the banner to the torn corner.
Not sure why they decided to do that or why they chose those torn shapes, but I guess they thought it looked good.
These diamonds represent the shiny level. if you have one diamond means shiny level one and so on. max is 3.
