PVP Tier Daily Rewards

I was just wondering “why we hit PVP Tier1 asap”. A guildmate said it could be daily rewards. So I checked the old screenshots for daily rewards. And I saw Both Tier14 and Tier1 gives same amount of Glory (16 Glories).
But on todays daily rewards it was " 8 Glory for Tier9". I’m confused.

You first screenshot is from Monday, the 16 glory is because you were at tier 1 on Sunday. It’s always awarded for the previous day, otherwise you’d get nothing on Mondays.
