Have I had any time to go through every single feedback topic Kafka and Bramble were working on since they left.. no.

Thanks Jeto as always for the excellent communication.

There was allegedly a list of top 5 issues being compiled by the previous mods: maybe those are a starting point before diving into the full Drive.

The issue highlighted in this thread was seemingly in that list.

This list in the quote are the same issues I have been actively following up on recently.

Personally, I think this is the highest priority bug in the game currently. It is the only persistent bug I see day in day out.

Anyone who plays PVP and wants to use the benefit of the double damage within an Immortal’s region gets their team wiped meaning they have to spend a couple minutes either putting the team back-in or copy pasting from somewhere else.

It’s become such a long standing issue that people deliberately use teams without any immortals to avoid this PiTA.

As a company/game who keeps shoving two new immortals down our proverbial throats every 11 weeks, this should be one of the highest priorities on your list.

@Nimhain @Sirrian - I am concerned that this bug is not understood by the devs or not getting the cut-through it should be when reported by CX.

You want people to buy passes and boosters which include Burning Marks….which are used to strengthen Immortal Troops….but these troops cause our team to get wiped (at least every hour when you collect a tribute) when you are using them in their special region, but where that region has a requirement that does not also meet the Immortal Troop.

For example, right now in the Buff location of Ullor’s Henge…..which this week has been in Winter’s Reach with a restriction of Elf….the team gets wiped if Immortal Glaycia is selected (Winter’s Region is her area but she is Fey, not Elf).

Please fix this in 8.5.

I already answered this.

We understand that you are frustrated that this bug keeps getting brought up but it has been going on now since update 7.3 from December 2023. It is now April 2025. This is a daily issue for those of us that play pvp and I do not believe we are being unreasonable or impatient when we continue to ask about an update to this issue that has been going on for so long.

That’s totally fair and I agree. But at the moment, my last update was that I am waiting to hear back if it is being fixed in 8.5.. and I have not heard back.

Once I do, then I will be able to share that information.

What I don’t think is appropriate is repeatedly bumping a thread or tagging devs in a thread when they have not given an update (because they are also waiting for one) or trying to go above them cos they haven’t given an answer yet.

Please don’t take that personal. We’ve been well trained over the past years that anything not addressed within a few days always ends up never heard of again, unless we keep asking about it. If you plan to handle things differently, that’s actually something to look forward to. However, it might take some time for the community to adapt to a lack of updates now meaning that the gears are still spinning in the background.

I totally understand - in this particular case at least, like I mentioned above about the list of top community bugs Kafka had shared, is something I keep asking about.
There are definitely a few I am asking about on the regular for any updates.
Of course, I also know, there is a lot of old bugs, and some are not followed up on as actively.. I am trying to push for these as much as possible and I guess, work through everything else once they are cleared.
No major issue with a thread bump or tag here and there for old threads in need of some eyes, there is a lot happening in the forum!

The issue is repeated weekly tags and bumps to a thread, especially if the last update is, I am waiting to hear back if it’s the direct next update. I got a million reminders and notes over here about following up and waiting for answers, so it’s hard to not feel a little frustrated when there is another force poking at me, whos already trying to do the most.

Ideally, I would love to be able to build up that sentiment and trust that like.. if something has been reported you don’t have to worry it’s lost to a void and that someone will be following up in the background. Even with @Sokun coming in as CM, we are working on new processes for sharing reports from the forum!
But it’s hard to communicate those issues at times, or get updates or any confirmation to be able to share anything.. so, just doing what we can currently.

I must echo what @Fourdottwoone said: you are doing an amazing job Jeto, but it’s a mountain that needs to be climbed here, because of how communication was ā€˜managed’ before you took over (bans & closing threads containing facts they dislike, deletions, silence, silence, silence…)

Thanks for the patience, the consistency, and the immense progress you have achieved in such a short timespan to rebuild trust in the forum modding & communication.

You gotta also remember not everyone comes in and checks old threads to know whether a bug has been addressed recently. They just want to let you know and get an update. There are a lot of forum users that might not come in but every couple weeks or months. So no matter what, you are going to get people asking the same questions and tagging you again. It’s going to keep happening no matter what. (Not trying to sound rude)
