Please either reduce the amount for the promoted task, or let us keep our VP between seasons, because we all would like to get every task completed in a good amount of time. Some of us don’t do that much PVP, but if we purchase the pass and play to complete all other tasks besides promoted — no matter if we’re free-to-play or not — and the Overlord task is impossible for free-to-play players because it’s impossible for them to get the featured Immortal up in a reasonable fashion. All other tasks besides those two are good.
I agree it would be nice if we could carry over some of our VP each season as the requirements are rather high. A percentage would be nice as it would reward those that play more (and make going above 800k a little worthwhile).
Please let us keep our alliance ranks. Period. We need to complete daily PvP battles to keep up with season goals, collect gold marks, and other things anyway. It’s completely unnecessary that we have to keep re-earning them every season.
The global leaderboard should be for people who like to play all the time, and the general player base shouldn’t have to force themselves to compete with them. Too many players have gotten frustrated or burned out because of the disrespect.
A lot of games carry over a percentage like this. Would love to see it in GoW!
If I got 560,000 VP every season, I would definitely burn out. This is a ridiculous requirement for a task. Seasons are only 11 weeks and most players have jobs or at least a life outside of the game. Respectfully, this game is not our job. It’s a hobby and it has already been ruined for a lot of people. For example, I’ve seen far too many guild members hit their limit and have to stop playing entirely.
Resetting alliance ranks at the start of each season is an insult. I sometimes drop down to Ruby League from lack of motivation alone, not for easy gold marks.
I used to be a completionist for this game, but it’s not worth the effort anymore. I’ve never played a game this disrespectful toward its player base and trust me. I’ve seen some disrespect.
