What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
In the old system PvP was a minor nuisance, while Explore on 3-5 difficulty is a piece of cake. It was somewhat balanced with “Gain PvP rank” reward though. Anyway, I totally could progress from the 20 to 1 in one day.
Currently PvP is very hard - hardest battles in game, which is even harder under Blood Frenzy - actually, if you haven’t instakill units, or enemy has instakill immunity, such battle is practically impossible. At the same time, you need 300+ points for progress from L10 and up, and can get 50 points per such battle (ok, up to 200 in Frenzy, but it still very hard and long). I rarely can up my levels to max for a week, not a single day - I haven’t enough time for that. nd still, it gives awesome 9 seals per battle?! Where Explore gives 11 for times - even orders - easier battles?!
I would expect much higher rewards for a “simple” battles, and at least twice of that for “Frenzied” onces.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
Obviously, it became wrong as soon as PvP was replaced with the current system.

Compare efforts in the old and in the new systems.
