Completely agree with Sheffield! The final aspect of Elementalist needs to be reviewed and fixed!
Because when you put this class with Wand of Stars, with the second spell of it, whether in Attack or Defense, the opponent can no longer do anything except put the controller down and watch or retreat! !!
The problem is that before Elementalist, we had: goblins, we had Queen Bee teams, we had spider-summoning Orbweaver teams with Life and Death, and several other teams that did the exact same thing: you could only put the controller down and watch the enemy loop you to death. You take away Elementalist - new troops and weapons will immediately pop up to replace it.
Nerfs are bad. Good fix design is good.
I’m can’t remember who suggested it and I can’t find it now, but The Gray Queen with yellow/red/green is a cool troop idea - whoever you are, you creative person you, you should submit it via features request.
I sent you a private message showing how to easily get round the copy/paste glitch !
I like the PvP changes. Mainly the fact that VP is fair now.
PvP is no longer just braindead rando explore.
Edit: now if our teams would just save between restriction changes, it would be awesome!
This is partly false!
Because, against the Goblins, when you played with a class or unit that was freezing, we could play because they were frozen and therefore had no extra turn!
However, even with elementalist, which is not a Goblin class it must be remembered, well, strangely, the Goblins play again as if Elementalist were a Thief Class!
For the Orb Weaver Class, it’s not the same, it was especially the Life and Death weapon which was poison because it made itself Pious!
Didn’t those nerfs mitigate the problems with Gobtruffle, Orbweaver, Life and Death and goblins?
Seems like Nerfs can be bad, but are sometimes good fix design.
can’t remember goblins ever having that highlighted issues as elementalist. Not to say goblins have 2-3 colors, and elementalist + wand has ALL the colors to refill self.
Okay, let’s compare all legendary traits (3rd trait of mythic / legendary troops) that inflict negative status on match 4.
Amarok, mythic; burn and stun one.
Euryali, mythic; poison all.
Flame of Anu, mythic; burn and faerie fire one.
Infernus, mythic; burn all.
King Bloodwood, mythic; entangle and bleed one.
Kurandara, mythic; 50% curse all.
Medusa, mythic; curse and stun one.
Mother of Darkness, mythic; bleed all.
Obsidius, mythic; stun all.
Pharaoh Nefertani, mythic; death mark one.
The Scourge of Honor, mythic; curse and disease one.
Emperor Khorvash, legendary; stun one.
Geryon, legendary; poison and stun one.
Indrajit, legendary; curse and burn one.
Jarl Firemantle, legendary; burn one.
King Gobtruffle, legendary; disease one.
Magnus, legendary; random one.
Matron Velenne, legendary; curse and web one.
Queen Mab, legendary; freeze one.
Queen Titania, legendary; faerie fire one.
Sylvanimora, legendary; entangle first.
The Frostfire King, legendary; freeze and burn one.
The Midnight Queen, legendary; terror one.
The Werestag, legendary; lycanthropy one.
The Widow Queen, legendary; web one.
Uvhash-Ka, legendary; 25% curse and death mark one.
Venoxia, legendary; poison one.
See? Only Euryali, Infernus, Mother of Darkness, and Obsidius, can inflict 4 status onto enemy team (one each troop). All other troops can inflict one or two status per match-4 on average. Poison, burn and bleed are weak so only exception stands out is Obsidius. And they are bound with troop spell. Now elementalist inflicts freeze, entangle, stun and burn to one. Four status, including three strong ones. And not bound to any specific spell (weapon). I don’t need to spell out conclusion, really.
That’s why I suggest tweak it to inflict random 2 status to one enemy, or inflict random 1 status to two enemies.
Is PvP fun? I don’t see myself pressing this button ever again.

Don’t nerf anything!
Don’t nerf Elementalist!
Don’t nerf Wand of Stars!
That will achieve nothing, either. Then we’d be against the next best alternative.
You like fighting almost identical teams over and over?
One thing I must say about this update is that I feel I finally have the chance as a level 1700 player to actually beat a level 1400 player in terms of placement.
It’s not that it’s a lot of fun…
What it really lacks is variety. I don’t care about Stellarix or Elementalist or Wand as enemies - but if that’s all I get then it becomes a problem. It’s very repetitive and on top of that also annoying as there’s no good strategy to win. There’s only using a similar team and hoping to get lucky.
I used a lot of different teams before the change and now it feels like there is only one team with slight variations for each region (central maybe being an exception). My varied teams don’t work anymore if I want to win - which is usually why I play.
Ding ding! The vp change is good. The one team per kingdom is not. Its not that we cant win, its that you are basically limited to a near mirror match
Okie so no one’s brought this up.
The defence teams, are now the last team people used on attack.
So guys it’s really simple, if you don’t want to see , wand , Stella, diamontina, Takshaka or elementalist as your opponents.
Then stop using them on your attack.
As there the same teams since update.
So it’s really Upto you to change the defence teams isn’t it, you change your attack.
Ps. Here’s we’re a get replies saying some silly stuff, about shouldn’t have to change there teams.
It’s just how it is.
PPS. My team today in urskaville
Sentinel
Defiance times 3
Wand.
So you’ll fight that, as an opponent.
No one has brought that up because its a dumb idea.
This would br great if everyone else did it too. But guess what? People are going to use the best troops available because they want to gasp win. And not just win but ein efficiently. So sure you could choose not to use those troops. But good luck beating wand/tak/tak/stellaris with any consistency without them
Exactly.
So everyone is using teams, they use themselves.
But everyone is complaining.
Am I really the only one that sees, that everyone is doing the same.
It takes a snowflake to start an avalanche.
Everyone change there attack teams, for a week.
Don’t do the meta.
Exactly everyone uses the best troops.
So your fighting the best troops.
My idea might be dumb, but atleast I can see this obvious conclusion.
Genius! And just how do you expect this to happen? Say i made a point to suffer through beating meta teams with non meta. Do you think a player will see my non meta team and think “oh thats fun! I should do the same!” Nope. Theyre gonna smash it for an easy quick win with their meta team
Again good idea on the surface. Silly idea when you think about it for half a second
You realise you could be complaining over fighting syverscales last attack team.
He could be complaining against fighting your last attack team
