Forgive a noob question from a one-time veteran who is now returning to the game after a long absence but … why all the love for Prismatic Orb? I’m still getting to grips with PVP , but one of the things I notice is lots of teams with Prismatic Orb in first place, blocking mana for the rest of the team. I guess I’m missing something really obvious here. Can someone enlighten me please?
@Baldred There’s not. There was a lot of talk around getting quick killed by teams with Stelarix and wand of stars so the Devs made an update that auto changed these to the orb and diamantia if you faced them in PvP.
This comes down to the defence teams being your attack team where Stel and Wand are quick teams to use.

When PvP was reworked, they decided to remove dedicated defense teams and instead to make you face teams what other people used for attack.
At some point they also introduced a weapon named Wand of Stars that, for some reason, gained quite a bit of popularity and people these days seem unable to take a single action without sticking it everywhere left, right and center, including PvP battles.
Subsequently, a fraction of players complained non-stop about fighting Wand of Stars in PvP and it being so hard, so tough, so impossible to win that the devs decided to run a script that replaces Wand of Stars on enemy team with Prismatic Orb and makes battles easier every time you face them.
(Similarly, most of the Diamantias you see are, in fact, Stellarixes that also get replaced by the same script.)
