Are these only available during the seasons and not via chests? I’m a pretty new player but like collecting troops and I’ve yet to find any of these.
Yes, they are seasonal. None of them are particularly good, so you aren’t missing out on much.
And no, you will only available to find the current seasonal troop on chest, not the others.
