Yes, although I must admit I too I initially wondered why I wasn’t receiving them for Free. A different choice of wording would probably clear up any confusion - perhaps labeling them as “Base” or “Base Pass”
I also find the one path structure very irritating.
It would have been better to structure it like my other game does.
And you could just as well have given players a single or no reward for a tier and paid passes could have had one or two per tier.
I don’t know why you’re so insistent on making the game more and more work.
This design is clear and easy to understand (and more rewarding). Even if you keep the reward structure as is, you can make it way clearer what belongs to what path and where we actually are right now.
I suspect that would make it way too apparent how stingy the F2P rewards are. Only each third reward is free, it’s mostly talismans and 15 minute buffs, and whenever it contains something useful it’s usually around half the amount compared to the exclusive rewards.
The way it works right now is a direct copy of Hearthstone Battlegrounds. With the notable difference that Hearthstone Battlegrounds only puts cosmetics into the paid pass.
