I guess the TLDR is that I have not heard any whispers of this being delayed at all. No news is good news

I’m sorry but the update concern the last few days, GW is closer than a year.
After a year of this, I’m beginning to think they are just toying with us. They left it on the event calendar and even posted multiple Guild Wars events. They leave it on the event board in game, and my guild comments every time it disappears; joking that it’s been cancelled. It’s been a year now and I’m beginning to see that it really is a joke.

They have actually explained why Guild Wars is still in the game and why it counts down.
I will suggest that you read why. There are many things to blame the devs and many things unsaid, that makes us speculate, however this isn’t one of them.

I think it would be helpful to know if Guild Wars is actively being worked on at all or if it’s just on the schedule to be worked on at some point. We don’t, at this point, even really know that.
