When it says on a troop’s spell ‘Give ## Gold’, Does it actually mean ‘Lose ## Gold’?
No, it means you will gain that gold if you have that troop on your team and cast its spell. You will not lose that gold if an enemy troop casts the spell against you.
Why not just say Gain Gold then, like Alchemist etc?
It’s kind of a bit weird.
Probably for the same reason some troops say
Kill an ally
compared to
sacrifice an ally
There are plenty of things that need to be standardised in troops
