Yeah its the video with the angry german gamer that goes amok with his keyboard. Probably its a meme of it also. But @DonBoba didnt know it, as many other, so the message can easily be misunderstood as hateful. How dificult is it to use a language that most understands? Sometimes I wonder.

Ok then, I draw back what I said. And besides, I also get mad when AL gets a lucky long cascade, but in total I liked small boost to resources gathering that hard was giving, without having a big impact on the game. Those lucky cascades happen to rarely to make me mad about the game, just mad about the moment, and like you I like cursing at Al in those moments :imp:

its the same as spamming and it should only be in the Off Topic section of the board. The reason for those pictures was to help Devs getting new ideas, it must be tought for you to understand since I have to tell you it.

While I couldnā€™t give any less Fs about @sethrogensbackhair, you are none to tell him what he can or not post on any topic, more when hes not breaking any of the kinder garden rules of this forum or the topic is not actually yours.

Well I have to say that the patch sounds ok except for the combo breaker being made not optional. I play on normal to maintain a fun game experience for me and now I donā€™t have that choice. If I get to rank 1 and then all the rest of the battles I do will have combo breaker off then I wonā€™t be doing extra battles. The frustration isnā€™t worth it. All I see is this option pushing people into more arena battles instead but then why upgrade your troops? They arenā€™t used in arena the way they are in pvp so why bother? No more gold farming. Soul farming seems pointless with no levelling. Less money available for my guild tasks too. It takes away so many facets of the game in my opinion that I canā€™t even think of yet. Very disappointed in this decision.

Trying not to fly off the handle like I did with the 1.08 patch so I will wait and make my choice to play or not to play after I see how it works.

But being good at everything is in itself very valuable. Itā€™s one of the few places to get Gems, gives great Glory, gives solid Souls, and okay Gold. I havenā€™t done the math but, on average, Iā€™d bet itā€™s the most efficient place in the game, especially when you factor in the Gems. And now theyā€™re adding Traitstones!

Obviously it depends in part on the drop rates of the different rarities, but it seems like TMs are going to be a decent place for everything and probably the best place for Traitstones. What more do you want?

You posted 140 pictures to give devs idea? Yet non of those pictures were designed by you, so if they actually decided to use 1 of your pictures they could get sued for copyright. . On other note his pictures and gifs are responses to other posts so he is talking in his way, if you donā€™t like of understand what he ment to say ignore it. He didnā€™t bash you for your posts, why do you do that for his?

As for your post, I also agree that they shouldnā€™t remove difficulty levels, but Iā€™m pretty sure it has some connection with changes in PvP planed for 2.0 update. They already said they will rework PvP system at that point so this may be a step towards that rework. I do not know why the option is removed now and not once 2.0 roles out, but still I believe there is connection between the two.

No, you are right, none of the pictures was designed by me. As I said above, those pics was to give ideas to the devs, I never said that if there ever would come a new troop that it needed to look exactly identically as the ones I posted.

My posts is in one thread only, while his GIFs are spread all over the board. If he wants to continue, no problem. I am done with this. If he feels like I bashed him, Im sorry.

I think it would be more ideal if the different tiles could produce at most 3 types of rewards:

Coins - gold
Bags - gold or souls
Grey chest - gold, souls, or glory
Green chest - souls, glory, or gems
Red chest - glory, gems, or glory key
Vault - gems, glory key, or gem key

If you looking for gold, do pvp as it is better. If you want souls, focus on reaching gray and green chests. If you put in time for the red chests and vaults, you get rewarded with keys.

Amen to that, who wants gold out of a vault? 1k gold? I make that out of beating the most rubbish decks matchmaking pairs me up againstā€¦

Agreed @Rasper, this chart is very close to the one we came up with in one (or probably more than one to be honest) of the improve TH threads. End result is higher chests should reward stuff that other modes donā€™t reward well and not reward the stuff obtained easier elsewhere. That way it has its own identity and its own usefulness. Keeping those at the lower tiers is fine as something you have to work through to get to the good stuff.

@eika @sethrogensbackhair chill out guys, and try and keep on topicā€¦ I donā€™t like the memes and I didnā€™t care much for the artwork either, but each to their own, letā€™s stay civil here pleaseā€¦

I agree with this sentiment. This feels like a significant step back in time, and a significant risk of loss of fun. I almost only play PVP, and make Rank 1 within an hour or so every Monday, and I only play on Normal. Like many long-term players I multi-task and play in front of a movie, and my (small-ish) children often play the game too, and so I like it being safe funā€¦

So the game team unilaterally decided to put me into Hard mode for (almost) my entire game play experience, with no increase in rewardā€¦? Thereā€™s enough powerful or broken spells out there (Bone Dragon? Sheggra? or a new single cast mega-spell that is guaranteed to screw my game?) such that a bad run for the AI (or bad drops of skulls if they have True Shot) will mean game lost through no lack of skill or intervention of mineā€¦ and yes the luck might average out over time, but the frustration takes us back to the old days of (okay, misplaced, but still genuine) frustration about AI cheating etcā€¦

I have long been anticipating this update with great excitement, but this one change hugely worries me, both for my own enjoyment of the game and for the impact on the wider player-baseā€¦ Iā€™d seriously ask - what was the logic for putting the combo-breaker in to begin with? Surely that logic still applies just as much nowā€¦ I remember the frustrations from that bad dice roll before - what was wrong with making the ā€˜hardā€™ mode an option that yielded better rewards for players that chose to take that risk? and for any newer players who havenā€™t experienced hard mode or the pre-combo-breaker gameplay, thereā€™s a fair shock to the system coming!

Thanks otherwise @Sirrian and the devs for this fantastic new stuffā€¦ but this particular unilateral move feels both risky and wrong to meā€¦
