Just all the other Mythics related to Campaign tasks prior were tied to the world event except this one. And you found it it in seconds therefore every player should have the same luck clearly in casual PvP. Each player isn’t put in seperate player pools or anything. Unlike world events where we all basically see the same opponents.
Coincidence!
Seriously though, they never said the mythic troops from campaign tasks will be in world events. I seem to remember Ozball saying on stream that it might not always be the case, but I could be making this up.
In any case, tasks need to be completable even for those playing catch up or not in a guild, so having the needed troops in world event as well is just a convenience.
Queen Aurora, week 3, campaign 1.
Ugh…I try to forget her. Thanks for the refresher.
Precedence.
(All but 2 weeks now)
Out of 15? (Not sure how many weeks there wasn’t a Mythic troop to locate.)
I standby my comments. It’s easy to find in pvp the week of the campaign task. This is very common knowledge as a lot of players put the mythics on their defense teams. Re-rolling in casual pvp is super cheap so it’s not hard to find. In fact, it’s a lot easier to find there than in the world event in most cases. I’ve never failed to see it in less than 3 rolls on a monday.
Even if you miss that weeks campaign it’s still obtainable from an explore run. Sure it may take a few if you get the wrong mythic in the mythic boss battle but it’s another viable method outside of the world event.
It was never stated that this would be the case for mythic tasks(that the mythic would be in the world event). Yes, it worked out that way a lot, but that doesn’t make it precedent.
The fact is, the task isn’t remotely difficult to obtain if you just spend 2 seconds looking in other areas. But hey what do I know, I’ve only been telling this to players since day one with zero complaints saying they couldn’t find it.
Just wanted to mention that Dragonian Sage is interesting, it’s always good to see new troop types being put into the game (rather than always getting minor variations of what we already have). While it isn’t quite good, it’s pretty close - I think it would be endgame viable if it had some way of getting half mana start itself. Without that, you need another troop to get it going, and that’s too much work.
Its basically the troop version of the Hero’s Dawnstone weapon, only it gives +2 magic instead of life and doesn’t cleanse the target troop. Still a variation in my eyes.
Even more frustrating; is the game; definitely hasn’t got wiser as its got older
You’re right, good catch.
Makes me kinda want to see about this Dawnstone, that combination sounds potentially useful
I guess there is no reason to fight Venbarek unless/until I start losing to Shadow Dragon or Nocturnia…or I get four lvl 10 Venbarek battles from which to choose.
