I can’t agree it’s to powerful, I can’t ever use it.
and we all know the saying about , assuming.

I did read it , you make good points.
Obviously a lot of them are Sigil PVP orientated
I do find, most complainents on here, are just thinking PVP.
Oh yeah, many people seem to think that’s the only game mode sometimes.
Just not what I was talking about, and you were assuming I meant something else, rather than talking about what I actually said, so wanted to point out it was a bad assumption.
You mention at least twice, losing resources sigils.
That’s PvP mate.
Losing to this troop in , explore is free
And apart from player made teams in PvP, you shouldn’t lose to it, in any AI event.
I’m going to try to not go into depth on the “nerf” because being able to curse and silence a random enemy on 4 or more gem matches was arguably one of the most devastating traits in the whole game along with Elementalist…
Let me take you guys back about 5 years when I first started the game…
I struggled to do pet rescues because I was scraping together a firebomb/sunbird team. Then, along came Satyr Musician who silenced my sunbird and proceeded to kill my whole team because I really didn’t have much else. Needless to say, I wasn’t able to get the pet and was pretty upset for awhile.
Silence…is horrible. Sure, you can match skulls, but not being able to cast spells (especially with curse) is freeze/stun on steroids.
Construct–Boompile: gets some lucky explodes and cascades…Dead.
Daemon–Empowered Troops: gets some lucky alignment…Dead.(though you could avoid this by using your own empowered troops, but it could waste time)
Purple🟣–Khafru, Thrall, Leprachaun: If any of those troops got a lucky turn or explodes…Dead.
Central Spire–I don’t even want to think about the evil formations people would use…
“The Sleeper” wouldn’t have made a game-changing impact, but it would make you feel like you’re fighting a T-Rex with a toothpick when the RNG monster wants to ruin your day…
PvP uses sigils, and I included that.
Underspire uses sigils (called torches, but same thing).
Class trials use sigils (not gonna meet this mythic there, though).
Faction assaults and delves use sigils.
Holiday events use sigils.
Weekly events use sigils, Journey uses sigils, Invasion uses sigils, Tower of Doom uses sigils (some aren’t gonna be seeing a mythic on the other team, but weekly does sometimes).
Guild wars uses sigils (Yeah, kinda still PvP, but it’s a set PvP mode so listed seperately).
Might have missed something. Just pointing out that sigils is more than just PvP.
I agree I was including PvP, bit I was mainly thinking about the PvP stuff that was sigil focused, and I did also mean other stuff as well.
Ok sorry, as I don’t want you to have cold sweats from an earlier pet loss.
I’m all for the nerf .
A troop that can disable your whole team before you even get your first move if you get unlucky, would be different. And this troop was that. Hence why people wanted it nerfed.
To be fair, I think it was over-nerfed and I said that. But where it was originally needed a nerf, IMO.
Except this won’t be in , invasion, raid, underspire.
These are set AI teams.
I’m gonna come back to this post, the day I see this mythic in any event , apart from.
PvP. Man made
Explore, boss battle
World event , once a year.
Zuul ino you play this game, so you know mentioning every event , isn’t really plausible, going by the last 5 years at least.
Sorry and GWs, well we could have him on every attack.
They can only use on restriction defence.
So it’s definitely in the favour of the attacker, on Karakoth GWs.
You’re forgetting the daemons that explode a gem at the start of battle. Before you even get a turn they can get lucky and match 4+ gems, triggering the curse+silence. Not gonna happen often, but it shouldn’t be an option.
I’m obviously fine now with Pet rescues and everything else because the Snake, Pharaoh, Dragon, and Wand pretty much do everything on auto-pilot. It’s just that when I first started the game, I realized how devastating silence can be.
Hell, we wouldn’t even be able to use Beetrix in most of those locations anyway except Central Spire. We could use Orpheus in , but that’s a liability imo. Constructs and Daemons? Completely screwed if the AI gets a better turn…
Any team that can appear anywhere else in the game can appear in underspire. If this troop is on any of them, it can crop up in underspire every week.
Dunno the exact rules, but I think it could even appear multiple times in the same week, right?
Cool.
Which will be once in a dozen blue moons? And he can defend every GW.
It’s actually a good job Beatrix wasnt getting introduced to the game nowadays.
Omg and imagine thrall, this forum would explode.
It would be nerfed
Mate, the Ai teams are set by the Devs
There not random.
If you do underspire, for the next 4 weeks, keep note of the mythic teams .
There set in stone.
This mythic won’t be there, unless the Devs change code.
There’s so many Mythics, that have never appeared.
The upcoming mythic should be renamed, “Okra’Nos The Once Feared.”
Silence scared the hell out of all of us. He will hardly be used. Signed, stamped, and delivered to 505 Studios by Kangaroo Express…
A troop would have to show up in an Underworld team (or Doom Tower bosses) for it to show up in the Underspire. For it to show up in an Underworld team, the Gems of War devs would have to make new defenses, which they haven’t done in years at this point.
I think it can show up in Journey though. Haven’t figured out how they make their teams.
Yep, they are overdoing it) maybe 40% for a curse and silence at a start of a turn should be fine, not fear)
He is a sleeper, from his naps pops-up a nightmares (he summons deamons, right?) which a are scared us to sh….ivers) with a 40% chance) Looks fine to me)
They turned it from a game breaker into a troop not worth using. Terror is worthless in player hands. MAYBE if it was 100% to apply it it would be better.
That’s interesting. I find most of the Immortals are very good for their intended purpose and a lot of them are slightly above average in places like the Underspire. What makes a majority of them not very good for you? Maybe we can get the devs to buff them more
