I don’t get that at all to be honest. Even before the patch you would have gotten more souls in explore and challenges. With the changes you actually get more souls in PvP too. My team for example now gets 144 instead of 96 souls and if i sacrifice a little bit of speed it does 192. So no nerf at all. The only thing you have to do now is looking for a necromancy troop that goes well with your soul generator. If you do that you will always get more souls then before no matter which mode you choose.

Death is my choice too but not everyone has him. Keeper of Souls is another one thats quite good
