Offline Farming

Offline, they may let is run on their servers instead of our devices. It may not be feasible though.

If you have a Samsung phone it’s a common issue that the devs can’t do anything about.
Kafka researched it. Has to do with the phone being idle so alerts are delayed.

For every hour that you don’t play Gems of War. You get a half hour of double XP when you play. GoW, WoW…same difference.

Nah Pixel 3XL, but I think its related to the idle part.

You get tributes here. And gold/hour.

Surprised no one here has yet to to make the post about the ultimate consequence of allowing offline farming. It would be the 4x speed loot nerf on steroids.

Semi-mock dev post if that were to happen:

Based upon an analysis of expected income, we’ve determined that the average in-game income of resources (Gems, Traitstones, Jewels, and so on) would triple on average daily from the new offline farming feature. To protect the in-game economy in light of this new feature and for the long-term health of the game, all resource drops in the game have been reduced by two-thirds of their amounts before this change went live.

All that would happen in the long-run is that offline farming would become mandatory to maintain current income levels, and players would gain no net in-game resource benefits. But, we would have to leave our computers on 24/7 constantly offline farming.

This is definitely a “be careful what you wish for” situation. You might not like how your wish is implemented in reality.
