This is something that was seen and able to be fixed instantly on the server. Not a client fix or the chance to be a client fix. So, rather than have to come back to fixing it, they just did it while they were already looking at that code.
I also didn’t post that nothing was getting worked on while we resolve the iOS issue.
Other stuff still gets worked on, it is just trying to resolve the iOS issue is a priority
I already shared that the daily offer issue has a pending fix coming in 9.5
So I imagine, while there wasn’t anything else the dev could do in regards to the ios issue, they went back to working through the backlog of ongoing issues that is there, then from that, saw this issue and fixed it as they went.
As I mentioned, it was found while investigating an existing and ongoing known issue. You want bugs fixed, but not the ones that are getting fixed. Then if they don’t get fixed, it just gets all brought up all over again.
I get there are community priority issues and that often differs to what is seen as a game priority to the team issue (can’t log in, total game wipes etc) and that is frustrating to see when things that don’t align with community priority are resolved, especially if something is grabbed on the fly that isn’t seen as a bug. But it doesn’t help anyone nitpick when something actually get’s fixed.
It’s not some conspiracy, they’re literally working through everything they can, when they can.
