[Not a bug] Valhawks not spawning in PVP

This is why I’ve given up using monoliths. Trying to find valhawks was a freaking nightmare some days. It took dozens, maybe hundreds of battles before I found them, even with quitting as soon as I saw no valhawk. That combined with the PvP goals being really badly designed made me decide monoliths aren’t worth the time. Now, I just do the quick battles, and don’t worry about hitting a certain number each day to get enough to find the valhawks.

I swear some stuff in this game is designed to be as frustrating as possible, and as soon as you start ignoring it, you realise just how bad the game design around those things is.

I did follow valhawk results for a while right after they were introduced. Yes, some random bad luck days appear but that’s more or less to be expected; overall didn’t seem like anything suspicious to me.

Then I lost interest and stopped caring about the birds. With seasons starting and monoliths being required for season goals, valraven hunting took place again. Only gut feeling that time but there was still nothing that seemed out of the ordinary - no suspiciously long days, no connection between activating monolith and required games, no connection between weeks of the day and required games.

I might, in the name of science, pay closer attention again. For starters, today it took a total 10 games after activating a monolith for all three to appear.

This may be inaccurate. I’ve had Valravens spawn in citadel battles. In fact I typically set myself up for them to spawn in at higher battle levels as a tactic.
