Not sure if this was intended or not, but the explore icon is gone from the Grosh-Nak kingdom and was replaced with the Underspire icon. I assume because Underspire features that kingdom this week.
Are we supposed to not play explore during the week when Underspire is featured in the specific kingdom? Or should there be an additional button?
Exactly why I posted this. It’s a kind of ok idea to add a button for Underspire in the Kingdom when Underspire is held in that one, but there should be an additional button for the explore mode then
feels weird if i have just totally missed this and its been around for a while that you just cant play Expore during the matched Underspire week.. if it’s a bug, i’ll report back and if it’s not i’ll make a qol asap about not being able to access explore via the kingdom during the week
This has been around since underspire launched. A lot of us raised this issue immediately and never got an answer. It was suspected that it might be a bug, since it made no sense that underspire would prevent explore, but since we never got an answer, it was left unclear.
We did also raise issues with the fact that if you have a lantern (bonus mythstones) on a kingdom before weekly reset, and that kingdom is the new week’s underspire, that lantern is “lost” until the end of the week. Not a huge issue, since we have 4, but it’s confusing.
Either way, it would be great for them to finally make explore available alongside underspire. Thanks for passing it along.
Definitely intentional. Not sure why. Explore and underspire have nothing to do with each other. Personally I think explore should always be available.
Yeah this is disappointing. Underspire blocks Explore, and then we have a campaign task to defeat specific troops–that are in the affected region. I’ve not gotten near enough from the class trial etc so will be unable to complete this.
I’ve completed the task … well, for the first tier only, turns out. Whoops!
It is definitely a shame that Orcs are so limited to just one Kindgom – but that’s hardly unique to them, Goblins, Centaurs, and Merfolk are likewise mostly restricted to their one Kingdom too.
It’s more that the task quota on this specific troop type is just too darned high relative to how poorly distributed (“farmable”) across different Kingdoms it is – there are a total of 32 Orc Troops in the game, 28 of which are found only in Grosh-Nak.
The others:
Bugbear (Zaejin)
First Mate Axelubber (Blackhawk)
Maze Cyclops (The Labyrinth faction)
Pyrophemus (Broken Spire)
Yeah, that’s pretty bad without access to Explore on Grosh-Nak.
