[Not a bug]Curse didn’t remove submerge

Posting on community to help with aggregation if needed. For video, refer to ticket ID 140407.

Video shows the third time of me casting curse with wand of stars and the submerge still persisting. Time stamp was April 22 around 12:15 PM mountain time.

Haven’t seen the video, but Curse won’t dispel if the target has Bless status, or is immune to Curse due to Invulnerable or Indestructible traits.

It was a Kharybdis (not immune, doesn’t bless, doesn’t submerge in damage) and it was the third looped time casting

Actually, Kharybdsis’s first trait IS “Aquatic” so if the board disruption caused by Wand of Stars popped any Skull damage, this will indeed cause Kharybdis to re-submerge itself.

Damn Statelier. You just out here making me look dumb on all my posts ahaha. Well more so just illuminating me doing it to myself ahaha. I had only checked the last trait or 2 cause I’m smart like that (I think I just made a faulty assumption and then confirmation bias). I’ll check the video quick to see if I was just absent minded.

FML, right again :man_facepalming:t2::man_facepalming:t2::man_facepalming:t2:

Don’t worry about it too much, we ALL make little stupid mistakes like this.

Such as “why is P4NTH-4’s instakill not working on Dooms?” (because Invulnerable)

I have an opposite problem - the bless from the Wand of Stars occasionally won’t remove frozen or entagled or any other negative effect. Why that happens, I have no idea.

If you are cursed (the purple aura), the bless will remove the curse but not the status effect. It’s really hard to see sometimes and people are either confused or forget. Status effects are sometimes hard to see, and even I get caught up in the moment sometimes and get frustrated.

But I like to think of bless and curse as a positive and negative number. If you add both of them together, nothing happens and you start at “the beginning” a.k.a as "0.":brain:

This kind of stuff is exactly why in the old GW days, I would try telling people that Wand is not an adequate counter to Trick and Treat on defense. You technically need as many as FOUR casts to completely negate that weapon. Better to do a silence on it and stack your damage dealing troops.
