What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened: I expected to see a “Play” button on the bottom left of this screen to start the Pan’s Vale storyline.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening? Every time I log in on both mobile and PC.
Steps to make it happen again Log in to the game and try to play the Legend’s Reborn event. On mobile the “Play” button flashes for a split second then disappears. On PC the button doesn’t appear at all.
So am I. There is no play button. I have tried restarting game, I restarted entire device (PC).
The button shows up when I first open the window, greyed out, and then disappears before I could even attempt to click anything. It doesn’t matter which way I try to access the event.
I can’t even access the story though the kingdom itself.
I think we’re in the 2 day grace period where you can only claim/buy the rewards. The story line needed to be finished by the 7th day of the event which was yesterday.
Agreed. I thought the event ended 1d 17h 42m from the time I made this post, since..y’know..that’s what the game says. Can’t recall any type of notification that it’s “mostly over, but not exactly”. Maybe there was and I missed it, oh well.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be a bug. Still, I’m not sure if my contribution here warrants the creation of a new thread. After all, I can’t read the story either and the button is also missing. I’m not sure why they only allow reading the story for a certain amount of time before the event ends. To clarify, not trying to be rude here. I just wasn’t aware of that as a thing.
Can someone give me a summary of the Legends Reborn event storyline? I know the lore and story isn’t always this game’s greatest strength, but I really want to read it. Since I can’t, however, a summary is the best I’m hoping for.
I didn’t know that the story had to be completed earlier. I’m disappointed now and, actually, I’ll be upfront. I wish that these stories could be read outside of Legends Reborn events. You can read the campaign stories for each artifact you’ve completed so Legends Reborn could have been a way to introduce a permanent way to read through these stories. At this point, I don’t know how many people really care though.
