My game (mobile, Android, Samsung Galaxy S24) says that there is no global chat. Don’t really care, just curious if anyone knows why this happened?
I’ve never seen the Global down, but I frequently lose Alliance Chat. I consider that a positive 
Actually, from Settings you can close Global Chat. Have you checked this?
Thanks! I had looked in the global settings but I had forgotten that there were settings in the chat menu as well.
