Yes, certainly is. For someone wielding a big f**koff hammer his attack is shocking. I can see why he needs courage or runesmith.

I love the 100% skull damage reduction. I would take it and wouldn’t mind him blocking 3 of my colors.

There are effects that trigger only on SKULL DAMAGE. That being said, it would become a valid counter to psion and whatnot. I wouldn’t mind his ability being completely useless and underpowered that way.
