Yeah, I agree. That will be my assumption unless they say otherwise.
Updating since I just finished. Hoard 177, 50% kingdom bonus and 9x T7. Horned Guardian, Mecha, King, Mecha. Somehow kept HG in first until boss room and entered with all troops.
This is the first delve that didnât feel fun to complete. It just felt like âif I throw enough resources at it, something will give.â In other factions, even potionless ones that Iâve been doing on the side, I felt like there was a strategy. Like summon Treant and keep buffing attack, or keep casting Lady Morana while slowly stealing attack with 4+ matches. Yet, one could argue that there are other factions like this. It could be considered âchallengingâ but I do not envy those who will be doing it potionless.
Yet to finish a delve that were fun, here. Oh well, this one I wonât finish as so many before.
This has been my experience for ALL factions. I used to try doing factions with a minimum possible buy, which took a very long time and often left me unable to do 500 pure. Now I just accept the starting point of 7 T7s and while not much fun, itâs much less painful.
Did this one on 2nd try with hoard 150 and 7 T7s.
Finally cleared it using Rhinotaur/King Minos/Mechataur/Horned Guardian. I put Guardian at the back so that he would get knocked to the front during the first battle and then I would be able to start the boss battle with him at front. Worked for me. I already had the pet at level 15 because of completing pure faction at 300, and I used 3x Nysha medal because enemy team has no spell damage reduction. Lots of strategy for this one.
Oh, and 7 Tier 7 purchases and Hoard level 200. Yeah, just brute forced with stats basically.
Fair. This might be the only âpay to winâ portion of GoW. While arguments could be made for other portions, faction events (whether 1-day or 3-day) are greatly benefited/resolved by throwing gems at them.
As counterintuitive as this might sound, I like the challenge of lower tier purchases. The only reason I (want to) buy extra tiers is needing the sigils to complete a given event. This weekend, I bought extra tiers in the beginning because I didnât want to spend so long so I skipped rooms starting at 200. Yet at 500 pure, there was nothing to really do except keep throwing resources at it. And while this might be the direction this is going, I donât like it. I bought 4-5 tiers for the last 3 faction weekends, although Iâll admit the were easier due to buff/debuff and summons. Yet this one was Lyrazraâs and Frostfireâs demon spawn.
On that note, seeing as I do plan to eventually complete all delves, Iâm glad itâs over. Even if it did cost me around 3.2k and tons of treasures that I probably didnât need to spend.
Just hoping that next week Iâll be able to see the three Taurus ghosts.
On the 3 day events, I buy t7x6 cuz that lets me skip to boss room right away. Only twice, I think have I needed to buy more attempts â this week being one. Lol
Labyrinth is not the hardest delve and itâs not the easiest either. Kill Horned Guardian first and youâve basically won. Easier said than done I know.
Just beat it with hoard 200, kingdom 14, Tier 7 x3 on my 2nd attempt. 3x seasons medals and only my HG was gold medalled.
Is it me or will the two rooms always be a Glaycion team followed by a Naga Queen team?
4 tries with successive Tier 7 purchases and always these two enemy teams. Minor change in composition but almost the same ingredients.
My failed run had Leviathon as the legendary. Switched my team around and I lost a troop to skull damage pretty quickly. I donât recommend the Leviathon room at all lol.
My successful run was Glacion and Lord/Lady Ironbeard.
My experience potionless was that HG can outscale your damage with 2 casts and after that you wonât win, as you canât deny it growing. Damage potionless is insufficient without mega hoard to kill it fast enough after it barriers for the first time; and especially if it is moved if you hit it with Minos.
Probably the biggest faction disparity between potions and potionless.
When I beat it I went through Xathenos and co and Cu Sith/Fenrir and co.
Yeah I certainly wouldnât recommend doing this one potionless. You really need to hit HG as fast as possible (and hopefully silence) and empowered potion helps a lot.
i faced different teams, so no i doont think so
I think the biggest indictment of a lazy troop design process is that as bad of a faction this is, it is not undoubtedly the worst faction.
It is lazy from the troops to the faction layout.
Also, donât use stun for a spell effect on any faction troop. When you run into the Dark monolith team, it just ruins a run. At best, it just makes it take longer than it should in pure faction runs.
My attempt were terrible⌠had 0 sigils once i did 490, and started beating against the wall with pure 500 with 3 fresh sigils and 7xt7 potions boost⌠first 3 battle even got to boss room, with my team untouched⌠but got some super skull combos from nowhere and it was it⌠3 timesâŚ
another 9 battles (and geting extra +7 to all stats every 3 battles) either ended up while being crushed on my way to boss room, or iâve entered boos room with 1-2 troops dead, and got wiped in boss room
finaly run #13 (12xt7, +84 boost), made a clear walk â initial room â chessboard room â worms room â boos room, my team untouched, perfect win
guild mate had more luck, and was able to push it at 9xt7, but horrible RNG factionâŚ
Went with 2x Machataurs, 2x Minos. Faction banner.
