Day 17
2/17
5 2 1 4 3 6
Ah, I LOVE these new dungeons! /s
Day… whatever, of no perfect runs. I don’t even do the dungeons anymore if there’s a trap. Screw it.
Yes, I do. I read the Game Guide. I see no official information regarding dungeon traps tied to daily colors.
Seeing phrases like “my guess”, “I think it is” and “unless it’s a bug” doesn’t raise my confidence.
It’s funny to see you trusting those incomplete and partially false game guides (which has been given proof several times over the years) and you are also obviously not able to make your own conclusions out of dozends of gathered pics and data in this thread here.
Instead you come along with the misleading possibility stun and silence could show up together, which never happened so far and very likely never will
This might be a really dumb question, but what’s so good about Diamantina?
All of the gem dragons have potential. However, since none of them have impervious/invulnerable, they are easily disabled and require you to run a cleanse option for them. That fact has tempered my excitement for them. It’s too bad that we don’t have a good 50% start for them aside from Essencia.
Not a dumb question, but I do hope you can appreciate Diamantini when you can.
Diamantini does:
- [(Magic x 2) + 6] to all enemies as a base
- adds +3 damage for each Skull on the table
- has a chance for an extra turn on cast, however slim
- is 6 colors, so it fills on anything, for 30 mana
- can increase the magic of all allies by +2 from taking skulls, which is probably the worst of the new dragons, but can still happen
the closest current comparison:
Phoenicia does:
- [Magic + 1] damage to all enemies.
If there is Firestorm, deal double damage. [1:1]* - adds +1 damage for each Red Gems and Burning enemies
- Is 24 mana of 3 colors
- 50% of the time, it may randomly burn an enemy that may/may not be immune to burn for +1 damage boost
TL:DR: Diamanitini is a way stronger damaging Phoenicia without needing the Firestorm gimmick (freedom from Sunspear/Hierophant) and can fit on any team with color restrictions, because it has 6 colors. Diamantini has the downside of being frozen on all 6 colors if frozen, but a player signs up for that knowingly while using Diamantini.
Thank you for the explanation! That makes sense. And I don’t foresee the freeze being an issue, since Phoenicia teams are typically for grinding low-ish levels and typically the battle is over within a couple turns.
It’s at least worth a peek at the other doors to see if you have descending stairs you can take. That way if you get a perfect run, it’ll be worth a bit more dragonite.
RNG at its best today … got my 4th perfect run, 94 dragonite. Plus some descending stairs, taking me down to level 8.
Then the pendulum swings the other way when I craft my second dragon and get a duplicate (Garnetaerlin again, the boss of the day - coincidence?).
3,5,6 (4 was an altar)
3,4,6 (2 was a diamond bonus)
4,5,6 (3 was an altar)
2,3,5 (4 was an altar)
4,5,6 (3 was an altar)
3,4,5 (1 was ascending stairs)
4,5,6 (2 was ascending stairs)
3,5,6 (4 was an altar)
Still on Floor 2 though
0/18. New strategy: get someone with 4+ perfect runs to Skype in and tell me which doors to click.
Day 18. Don’t you just love, then your first 3 picks aren’t a battle and the boon is ascending stars My 3rd stair option(2 ascending).
2/18 perfect runs.
5 2 1 4 3 6
I got yellow today so I’d say coincidence.
Would be way too easy to get all the dragons if we got the ones whose dungeon of the day it is.
