More Sound Options

I’m a newer player coming into the game for the first time.
My biggest complaint at this time is with some of the sound effects. It would be nice to have more options for toggling these effects in the volume menu or removing them all together without me needing to remove them in the /local files. At the moment I play the game in silence or with music only. But, I would really like to hear the gems making connections/exploding.

I’m mostly referring to toggling the sound effect “Mana Surge”.

Sound is an integral component to gaming, you can walk into any casino and learn this right away. So, it’s pretty surprising that this has been complained about for years and there hasn’t been a option implemented.

Suggestion 2:
It would also be nice to have options for changing the music - I’m sure there is a catalog of songs over the years that the game could provide for us to use as background music. I’m not even entirely opposed to this being a paid feature personally.

You still play this game with the sound on? I muted the music and sound effects years ago as I felt they just got so annoying to hear while playing.

I could imagine this being part of an “Advanced…” type settings menu.

Personally, the sound effect I’m most tired of hearing is the “woosh” that plays when passive traits trigger. Which in certain situations becomes A LOT OF WOOSH.

I just enjoy trying to determine what the various troops are saying. My favourite is Beastmaster Torbern. I know he isn’t but it sure sounds like he’s shouting a ……curse.
