Unlike the Angel, which I understand why we can’t just have both - Why can we not “BUY” both items from the merchant?
I got writs and a deed just now and it would be nice as an end-gamer to purchase both.

I’d also like a 3rd option to have him buy some of my junk or a 4th to headbutt him and make for the door with his goods, 10% chance would do, purely due to the markup he’s obviously making.

Or a choice to fight and defeat the guards of the merchant’s convoy, to steal ALL of his goods, which should be quite a bit more than the piddling quantity he is trying to sell.

Or if you fight him and lose.
The 3 troops you fight with, you lose from your collection and have to key gain again.
And your hero class loses ten levels, gotta have jeopardy for us to 
Or maybe we could give the merchant a nugget, pretend we’re his friend
Go to his house for tea, meet his wife and kids , and threaten to Todd greenwood them to death, if he doesn’t give us 1k dragonite
