What’s the point of the Dire Wolf’s Mark Prey ability? It seems to not do anything other than put a cross on a card. It’s not like it makes all further attacks go against that one card as that never happens. Just seems a rather useless ability and has no explanation next to it either like some other cards do.
It inflicts the Hunter’s Mark status effect which means the unit takes double damage from:
- attacks triggered by skull matches
- skulls destroyed by spells and explosions
It has no effect if placed on an enemy other than the first one… apart from bonus damage on some weapon that I can’t remember…
I think the problem is more with Dire Wolf than with Mark Prey…
Yea… Dire Wolf is pointless. Treat it as disenchant stock. Unless you’re keen on making that Mythic Dire Wolf…
