The new mythic, Creteus will be from Wild Plains and will be available from glory, gem, and VIP chests on March 6, 2026. I don’t how the Pridelands kitties got in there.
Stormgard’s lightning gems will power up something other than Ridgeback and Primal axe, which I think were the only ways we could make good use of those heroic gems. Primal axe with Shaman is not too shabby, but Creteus will have a purpose and will utterly annihilate troops. (This guy could have been put to good use in Guild Wars awhile ago against Takshaka and Chrysantherax).
@Jeto - I think the game has swapped Mirrored Halls and Frostfire Keep.
The last Glacial Peaks week (starting 19th May 2025), we incorrectly got Frostfire Keep on the Tuesday (same day that v8.5.0 dropped). Now, your calendar says we’ll have Mirrored Halls tomorrow, but the game showed the Faction Crest for Frostfire Keep prior to my rechecking just now.
If you’re putting in Mirrored Halls because it was skipped last time, that seems like a good idea. But I think you should also probably check that the next time we have a Stormheim or Glacial Peaks week, the correct Faction appears on the Tuesday.
Once more there is an error in the monthly calendar:
The faction belonging to Stormheim isn’t “mirrored halls” but “Frostfire Keep”
And I said “once more” because mistakes like that seem to be happening every time a monthly calendar is posted the last few months. Is it really that difficult to check things before posting them?
It’s about a 20% damage drop, provided that Creteus is casting his spell with no stat drops or status effects. He would still most likely defeat troops like Takshaka, but troops and heros with spell reduction will probably barely survive unless they are hit twice.
The devs nerfed the triple damage to poisoned enemies on Mother Malice and now this. All they are doing is encouraging everyone to just use the dragonite dragons, and I don’t understand why they are limiting diversity.
@Jeto I see that there is a new Legends Reborn event this month. Do you know if the dev team fixed the issue that is preventing the Kingdom Crusher achievement/trophy from unlocking? The last event got stuck at 80% and would not unlock.
