Maelstorm Dago'Nath is an Assassin?

I know there is many troops in the game with the wrong type, but come on, especially go through the most used classes and fix the troops which has no magic in their spell, but the type gives them magic.

This is just laziness on it’s finest.

He looks like a generator indeed

Troop “role” probably influences where the AI places that enemy within a randomly-generated team and how it utilizes the troop – e.g., the priority level for casting its’ spell as opposed to another troop’s spell.

I still believe that it was always one of those “behind the curtain” things that was never intended for public consumption like it is now, but that it turned into “public consumption” when the badge/elite system was brought into existence rather than the developers coming up with an alternate system to append onto things at that time.

If something belongs to “it”, it’s correct to use “its” with no apostrophe.

“it’s” with an apostrophe before the “s” is short for “it is” or “it has”. Using this to indicate possession by ”it” is a very common mistake.

“its’” with the apostrophe after the ”s” isn’t a thing, at least as far as I’m aware.

Please excuse my pedantry. Just trying to help you save unnecessary wear and tear on your apostrophe key.

Good point!

don’t think we need to super worry about if people are not using grammar correctly.. seems a bit unnecessary to call it out in a whole post.
it’s likely a lot of people don’t have English as their first language or don’t know every single intricacy of english grammar - which already is insane, or maybe just doesn’t think about needing to correct their posts on a game forum.

Was there ever a troop that got their elite level type changed? I remember back in the days many wanted a different type for Tesla, just to take an example, nothing was done.

It may not be an easy fix after all. But I am not into coding..

He’s a god

Lethal

Invincible

Potions

Extra turn

Damn this dude, makes Zuul look like a puppy.

New type God.

He does indeed fit the term ‘Assassin’ - just not in the world of elite level type due the no use for magic.

When we could medal troops, I remember a lot of people saying that Zuul’Goth should be a Defender because the attack hardly did anything, and the magic was useless. (Same for Ctharrasque, and Malestrom).

If a boss troop kills an enemy and has no magic value, make them Defenders, so it makes sense. (And honestly, with all the mana potions Malestrom creates and the heroic gems Ctharrasque creates, you could argue that they could be Generators, but I’m not going to get into an argument about that).

I think anything, that one shots with lethal or guaranteed devour.

Should be an assassin, isn’t that what an assassin does.

Knife from behind, or sniper shot.

Maelstrom is a definite assassin. Dictionary wise.
