Let’s get the obvious point out of the way that many people find emojis are pointless. “Who cares, why waste dev time on chat convenience instead of the game?” etc. If that’s how you feel, well, you’ll be better off chilling. Don’t let this topic gain traction.
For the rest of us that sometimes use them (maybe some people more than others) … or just like to keep some semblance of organizing:
There’s a ton of emojis in the game. It’s kinda absurd. There’s got to be over 1,000 right?
That’s not a bad thing.
The bad thing is there is no way to sort emojis, find emojis, hide unwanted ones etc. More problems than watching another Emoji movie, basically. We’re at find your favorite needle in a giant haystack of emojis.
I think a quick and dirty way of helping this pile of pngs is to give us around 5-10 slots somewhere that we can preselect our favorite emojis and it places them at the top row of emojis so we can quickly pick our favorites without digging through the pile.
It doesn’t really help the ones that like to write an essay in pictures, but a lot of us default to personal favorites and it could help with ease of use/organization.
(Personally, I don’t like a majority at the top of my list now, but I’m not taking the time to scroll below 5 lines of 13 to find them.)
