We actually implemented live PvP in Puzzle Quest, Galactrix, & Puzzle Quest 2… The main design issue (one of turn timing) was an issue in those games too, but we solved it with a short-ish turn-timer (it could be adjusted from 4 sec to 24sec in PQ1 for example). We’re certainly open to the idea. And we’ve done real-time PvP before in Puzzle Quest, PQ2 and PQ Galactrix on PC and Console. Mobile is a different kettle of fish though, mainly due to disconnect/reconnect issues mid-game. I know Blizzard had trouble with that in Hearthstone. We’re backed up with plans for the next couple of updates, but after that, it’s a definite possibility. You’re right on this one. Sirrian made his GoW 2.0/live PVP comment in a Twitch stream that was far more current than 2016.
