Linking PC and android - not sure what happens

Hi, i would like to merge my accounts so i can play with same character on both devices. Not sure what would happen.

First account i made was on Android and i played it for few days. Few days latter i made one on PC. As i mostly play on PC and would like to use Android from time to time to play with the same character what would happen when i link them and how to proceed?

You will only have 1 account after you link them.

So if you want to link the mobile to the PC account, then get the code from the PC and put it into the mobile one.

If you want it the other way around, then get code from mobile and enter it on PC

So after i put the one from pc to the mobile, everything on mobile is whipped clean?
