Legends Reborn can be accessed from either the Games Menu or the Khaziel Kingdom Menu (if the storyline has been completed previously). so.. Legends Reborn used to be the largest paid source of books per time period.
4 books has been replaced into 500 specific kingdom exp
12 books has been replaced into 1800 specific kingdom exp
not only that, you’re paying $44.97 to get 2300 specific kingdom exp.. (+$4.99 for the privilege to buy that)
As someone not buying the weekly Rainbow Crystals, I’d stick with 4 Rainbow Crystals (2400 any kingdom exp) + 6 Shiny Keys for $39.98 over 2300 specific kingdom exp. Seems like a bit of a fail.
Some people might value the early access to pets and some shiny tokens for a bad troop, but .. meh.

Cant expect it to be the same.
Its the same as “journey sucks… they shouldn’t have nerfed the troops”
The changes have been made and in hindsight they’ve been building to this for a while.
I agree locking in a specific kingdom is different to what it used to be. But it 100% fits the theme of what reborn does.
More like bad notice. We knew it was coming but due to bad information we couldn’t be sure when.

Stop giving them the benefit of the doubt for bad user interface design.
And as far as the game “changing”, when games change, they’re no longer the game that we want to play – and have done for the last 11 years!

Stonehammer’s Mimic is the only premium reward I’ll be purchasing. Buying kingdom XP or even crystals with real money? No thanks. It’s a bottomless money pit. It’s cheaper trying to fullfill kingdom tasks, even though I’m limited by new content now and by the shiny bottleneck. And orbs will max the pets.

Those paid offers are a joke. We only get kingdom exp for Khaziel? Add some rainbow and colored crystals for pete sake. The pets and glory orbs still have good value, but I feel sorry for anyone wasting money on this garbage.

I don’t even think it’s worth it. Yeah its just $5, but someone is bound to just pull it from a pet rescue in the current pick a pet system later on.

Yeah, SOMETHING between the map interaction and the story cutscenes definitely feels … off.
As for me, I decided to play along with the story and:
- For that first battle against Emperina alone, I just did Runepriest Hero (alone) with a not-too-special weapon.
- Subsequently, ran a team of just hero + Emperina. The only surprise here was Draxxius got my hero with Curse+Death Mark.
- When Emperina left then returned saying she got Celestasia’s help in Whitehelm, I also put Celestasia on the team for fighting Gorgotha.
I still wish we have the option to play through the story more than once, because even at my state I statistically overpower the enemy story teams (even the boss) by a fair amount. When, first time through, I STRUGGLED with certain kingdoms full stop.
There’s a yellow symbol on Khaziel’s left side, and some other symbol on the right side.. what do each of these mean? I thought yellow meant Legends Reborn, but can’t recall what the second symbol is for..
I believe they added a new mark for Legends Reborn and forgot to remove the old one. But not 100 % sure.

Yeah, but you need pets for kingdom tasks. All these pets made my Khaziel lv 65.
it’s weird.. and unnecessary, it’s an icon for a legends reborn cutscene or something. I am asking if we can JUST have the yellow icon so its consistent with every other on map icon

The yellow one also overlaps the “kingdom task completed” green icon (also discussed here)

Actually I REALLY PREFER the new icon on the right over the ugly yellow one. It’s just (jusat) a tad too big.

Irrespective of the final choice, these symbols are mostly unhelpful without some form of legend/interface that explains what they mean: even if I see a kingdom with a neat symbol and I click on it, once I’m in there I don’t know what’s the special thing I should be doing to benefit from that specific symbol or to clear it and make the symbol move to another kingdom.
