Kukulkan will NOT be in event chests this week

As the title mentions, I just wanted to let as many players know that Kukulkan will NOT be in event chests this week for Suncrest. I honestly think that some troops like tarot cards, underspire sentinels and troops in the pvp shop need an asterisk* or other symbol on their troop card to indicate that they cannot be obtained by normal means.

I just don’t want players to get frustrated with losing event keys to try to obtain something that is impossible. We will have to wait for mythics in the pvp shop to show up in the soul forge to confirm that they can be gotten from glory, guild, gem and vip keys.

Surely something like this could be explicitly mentioned by the dev / cs team to avoid “misunderstandings” by players. Unless that’s the goal of course. #Weavergate

To be fair, the developers did say in the patch notes and here on the forums that Kukulkan would only be available by way of the Soulforge once his PvP season availability expired.

But, like a lot of other things, it’s not something you would know if you only play the game directly and don’t read these spaces or have a guildmate who does.

I already would be happy to know WHEN the troop is going to be in the Soulforge and HOW MUCH it will cost. Don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed anymore …

You don’t think it’s worth a few keys trying (if u have a few up your sleeve)? Afterall, it wouldn’t be the first time there was a such a bug…

I am honestly going to try just for the hell of it, and if I pull 2 of the other mythics or all of them except Kukulkan (Phoenicia, Quetzalma, or Zilopochtli), I will stop.

If it’s a beneficial bug, it would be fixed almost immediately, it’s just that it would be nice to get an official response to this, and if they would change this issue for future mythics in the pvp shop.

I found 5 mythics, none of then Kukulkan.

Thanks for testing it. I tried it on Switch too and stopped after 2 repeated mythics.

Waiting for Kukulkan in the soulforge and another Suncrest event just feels like a stinking pile of…:poop:.

Phoenicia #4 and Quetzalma #5 for me. Of course no Zilopochtli yet and still no word about the PvP mythic even though the campaign ended long ago …

I can’t tell from the Taransworld page what the status of the current Soulforge (mythic) cycle is. Did we just start a new cycle? Are we somewhat between cycles?

Because while I have yet to fire up my console this morning, I noticed that Stormgaard is finally in the Soulforge this week and that’s one I don’t yet have. (I was prepared to spend thousands of Event Keys on him in a few weeks if necessary.)

But some idea of where we are in cycles could help us try to “predict” when Kukulkan might show up.

To me, it looks like we are in the middle of a cycle that started on Sept 9th.

The reason the numbers are borked is because devs tinkered with the Forge on Nov 27, Sept 10 and further back on Feb 24.

Nothing changed with the Mythics offered those weeks but it causes Taran’s system to count them twice.

The first PVP season ended Oct 6, so we’ll be waiting for the next cycle… in, um… 15 weeks? And then of course, it’ll show up whenever. So better part of a year, I’d bet.

Will Pharaoh khafru be in this soulforge cycle? Thanks

Pharaoh Khafru hasn’t been seen so far this year in the soulforge. This is the current soulforge rotation cycle for mythics that have been in the soulforge for PC/mobile.

Generally, we have to wait about a year for the newer mythics to get out in the soulforge. I can’t remember the exact date Pharaoh Khafru was released, but it can be frustrating waiting for specific mythics to get put in the soulforge.

Thanks to the Devs for…lying like every time!! They said that Dudulkan would be at the forge after the PvP campaign, we are approaching 2 weeks from the end of the 2nd campaign, and there is still nothing! So, we would have thought that it would be in the event chests, and yes I spent a little more than 4000 event keys and I got all the mythicals in the kingdom except Rubirathrax of course! Little advice, stop lying to us!!!

No “lie” as such there. It was supposed to be added to the standard rotation of mythics. And new mythics are always added to the soulforge rotation at the start of the given cycle, so all new mythics released since the start of a previous one are added to the pool, and then the countdown begins by 4 every week. In our case, since start of September 2024, until the start of April 2025. So, Kukulkan won’t appear in soulforge before April 2025, but as the rotations aren’t set in a specific order, we might see it in April, but we might just as well see it in October. Yes, 2025.

It’s a hot burning potato that the Devs keep ignoring - the mythic rotation is just excessively long at this point, due to the sheer number of mythics we now have in the game

I’m all for calling out incorrect info given, but this is not a lie.

We were also specifically told that it will be soulforge only. Any keys you’ve used are on you and your assumptions, not on the Devs.

Going back through the history on this board, it appears that Khafru was the August mythic for this year. So, in theory, prior to the September start of the current cycle… although it’s possible that it would be a no-show there because the “waiting period” before it went into chests might not have expired prior to the start of the current Soulforge cycle.

there is no waiting period for new monthly mythics since years, they are in chests immediately after their exclusive week

Thanks for the khafru answers. I was worrying he might not have been included in this cycle but can rest happy now. First thing i do Monday reset is see if he’s in soulforge :joy:
