Congrats! Just for comparison.
Urskyaya and Shentang are my last 2 kingdoms that I can get to level 30, but when I donât need random
and
books from the PvP shop anymore, thatâs when I decided to stop that RNG nightmare.
Maybe we can actually buy deed books that we need in 2030 with update 12.0.![]()
Currently at 8 kingdoms now. ![]()
Got my 1st kingdom up to max less than 4 months ago. And my 10th today. ![]()
Upgrading all of the
magic kingdoms and Zhulâkari has the biggest impact and people should focus on those first. Even upgrading the attack kingdoms doesnât have much of an impact and having more armor and life doesnât really do anything. Defeating players with a higher team score does get you more gold in PvP though.
You would think more armor would make troops like Rowanne, Tesla, and Gaardâs Avatar stronger, but the power creep of dragons has made that irrelevant.![]()
Since books from PvP are random Iâll take what I get from there. ![]()
What am I doing wrong? Where and how do people manage to obtain those crazy numbers of books? About everyone is in front of me. I have yet to get a Kingdom to PL30.
I am working towards to get ZhulâKari and Darkstone to PL30 nowadays.
You are not specializing. Kingdom upgrade levels 17, 18 and 19 are borderline useless, yet take a huge amount of bottleneck resources. Upgrade all kingdoms to 16, then focus on getting one kingdom of each color to 20.
@Sister_Tatz Great job!!!
What is your team score?
Yeah, you are right. I have probably spread it all around, the books I had + I havenât been active enough through quite some years to make sure I could get every book that was available.
As far as I can see, the only bad thing I have done, if we focus on Magic kingdoms only. Is that I did not max one of Darkstone or Karakoth first, instead I went in to get them even. First now I am close to max Darkstone, this could have been done earlier. Of course I could have them both possibly maxed now if I did not get other purple book of deed kingdoms up to level 26. Same goes for ZhulâKari I could had maxed it a lot earlier just to get the extra magic. At least I am soon there with two magic kingdoms.
I held back to get any kingdom to level 19 unless PL30 was on the horizon as for Zhul and Darkstone to go all the way from 18-20. To reach PL 27 it requires 10 books for level 18 req.
Not a hell of a lose that I even it out more than aiming, but maybe it bother me now, that I did not spend more time thinking of my strategies.
To add to what a couple of others have said?
When I started upgrading kingdoms, I did everything to 15 first. Then everything to 16. Then everything to 18. And once I got there, I started doing one kingdom at a time to 20 as resources permitted. Doing things in âbite-sized chunksâ that didnât take âforever and a Wednesdayâ to accomplish so that there was always a sense of progress.
I got my 8th kingdom to Level 30 earlier this week, and Iâm one Book of Deeds away from my 9th (which will be Zhulâkari, my second âMagicâ kingdom).
As for accumulating crazy numbers of Books of Deeds? Iâm a completely F2P player, so Iâve had to grind it out. To me, the best way to go about this was twofold: First, I jumped to a much more active guild several years ago to make sure I was with a group that completed Journey events; at the time, that was the best way to efficiently accumulate Books of Deeds.
Nowadays? Itâs through Gold Marks. My guildâs prowess at Guild Wars helps, because I get a huge âextraâ pile of those every War. But this also means focusing on the opportunity to farm Gold Marks from PvP. Fighting the Citadel battles five days per week â at least through the Guardian â gets you some Gold Marks. Then thereâs the regions on the day after that Citadel is vulnerable that grant you a handful of extra Gold Marks similar to how there are usually Silver Marks bonuses. Pile all those together and you can probably come up with enough Gold Marks to buy three Books per week.
Add to that the occasional Deeds tasks from the Adventure Board, plus whatever comes around through Merchant offers when doing Explore or ordinary Daily Delves. (When I do either of those, which isnât amazingly often.) Itâs still not quick, but it doesnât seem like an endless task either. Although Iâve reached the point where I might have to shift an occasional focus to Imperial Deeds one way or another because my stash of those is running low. (Imperial Deeds can always be doubled up through an Underspire lantern; itâs the second Dragon and that can often be reached even without spending Gems in that mode.)
Itâs a marathon, not a sprint.
Assuming you know how Team Score is calculated, it is 22,928 or 23,243 with an immortal troop (level 29).
Itâs not that you did anything bad/wrong, just not optimal.
Donât sweat it, Iâm not much farther ahead either. I have parked most kingdoms on pets because I need medals, so might as well get something useful from the bonus draws.
Can the Merchant sell book of deeds? I only saw writs and regular deeds.
The merchant can only sell x3 deeds (150 gems), 200 writs (20,000 gold), or imperial deeds (250 gems). The angel can also give you 100 writs, 2 random deeds, or 1 imperial deed. You grind explore 1 with dust devil/ironhawk/ironhawk/ironhawk in Sin of Miraj, Dhrak-Zum, or Bright Forest, depending on what troop types get the 10-20% stat bonus. If you canât defeat all the troops with 1 cast of dust devil, just go to another area that I mentioned.
Merchant and angel offers only show up in the first 3 battles of explore (most likely because of the pointless message of accepting the mini boss battle), so you can retreat from the 4th battle and finish the explore run to start another set of 3 battles over and over again (this also saves time with the needless mythic and mimic boss chest battles).
You might think imperial deeds are overpriced, but you will needs lots of them, and it saves you from buying them in the PvP shop. Random deed books in the PvP shop are frustrating, but it has the most value because 100 gold marks is equal to 50 deeds, which saves you 2,700 gems worth of deeds.
I donât care about this anymore, but itâs one hell of a grind to keep us playing this game. And theyâre going to build another mountain for us to climb anyway.![]()
One more thing to add:
Do not craft colored deeds with writs, youâd be better of crafting imperials only or youâll run out of colored jewels quickly.
I know they cost valuable diamonds, but thatâs a price that will make itself paid, since after finishing a few kingdoms you run out of them more quickly while the books come by at a steady pace.
